JACK O’LANTERN’S JOURNAL:
It sounds swell, doesn’t it? Sounds like something one aught to have, no?
This is The Curse of High Hopes:
Now, I want to be keen on the scanty layout here, because what I am NOT saying is that Hope is a cUrSe; but that, OFF-BALANCED HOPE is.
Also, I want to introduce Devilish Doubt : The Opposition of High Hope.
If there was a Hope Scale, it would manifest into something like so:
DEVILISH DOUBT——————————LIGHT HOPE/DOUBT——————————–HIGH HOPE
And if there was a simplified scale that could morph emotion into lame words, it would look something like this:
And so, it is quite easy to espy out the balanced attitude.
Let us clear the smoggy water:
Why surrender carelessly into having your whole heart broken?
This is the cUrSe of High Hopes.
You are looking for a high fall when you need not to commit suicide!
You just need:
The Divine Attitude of MAYBE.
This makes life all the more Enlightening.
Tell me: What is the only gift more pleasurable than getting the gift you were expecting to get?
A: GETTING A GIFT YOU WERE NOT EXPECTING TO GET.
Enlightened Men: They live by many surprises because they are MAYBE-MEN.
They are balanced in The Divine Center.
They Doubt Nothing & Hope Not Highly & Receive Everything.
The Maybe-Man Loses Nothing, Because He Creates Nothing in His Heart That He Can Potentially Lose.
Because he has nothing to give away, and has nothing he wants to take: The Enlightened Man Only Gains.
The Enlightened Man is The Maybe-Man.
The Maybe-Man is The Gaining-Man.
And the Gaining-Man dies smiling.
Death to High Hopes & Devilish Doubt.
