Once Upon a Time in a Timeless State of Mind…

In the Mind’s Eye High in the Sky in a tree was a Castle: It is the castle of the royal Turdidae Family; the Lineage of the American Robin bird-class. Calpurnia, the Queen American Robin, shutters and shrills, and her King Caesar enters into the Tower Room.

King Caesar: What is it, Calpurnia? Where is it, Calpurnia? Calpurnia, where is the Golden Egg of the Republic?

Calpurnia: It is not here, Caesar.

Caesar: Where is Hermes? Hermes!

Hermes: Yes, King Caesar. Fair Morning, is it not? It is not. I can tell by the eyes. What is it, King Caesar? Surrender to me your sorrow.

Caesar: The Golden Egg is not here.

Hermes: The Golden Egg, King Caesar? There is no such thing… lest…the scriptures?

Caesar: This egg, as it is detailed inside of the scripture, is the Golden Egg of the Republic.

Hermes: Lo…

American Robin.

Caesar: For our eggs are naturally blue, as you well-know, Hermes; but this one hath been gold from the birth. The Dark Ages, it is certain and true that we are living and breathing within them. This Golden Egg of the Republic is said to bring light into the ones who walk through the fire and pay their reverential tribute towards the Sun on the way. Someone hath robbed, not only I, or Calpurnia – they hath robbed The Republic.

Hermes: Lo…

Caesar: There are brutish beasts out there, Hermes. A scanty strong minority who doth not want the Republic to overcome themselves. They are reptiles in high places. Rich weasels and rabid animals who rule. You see with your eye what has happened here, Hermes? The bottom feeders of life; the loneliest lowest worms in the dirt; the hell-worshipping brutes that lack the heart’s empathy – have acquired the hand of the land. Darkness reigns in the Dark Ages. They despise Enlightenment and hold it down; for how could they conquer a mass who were awake? And so, with curses and ritual and Devilish Trick, they trick you away from the Sun that resides in your own self. But Lo, I, King Caesar, the American Robin, will avenge this treason. Let the Light be for the People who are for the Light.

Hermes: Hail.

Calpurnia: Where will you venture to, my King? For I would soar by your side like a shot-arrow, if only I was not pregnant and due for birth with another.

Caesar: Where the light roosts, Calpurnia, I will go, and I will return.

Hermes: That is inside of the Dark Nest, King Caesar.

Caesar: Then to the Darkness, I shall go.

King Caesar, the American Robin, takes flight like a shot-arrow, and lands next to a shady boulder where an Iguana named Reptilian loiters.

Reptilian: Well, if it is not the American Robin. You are ready to come out and play on the Dark Side?

Caesar: Dost it appear that I harvest a chilly blood such as you? Nay, the Golden Egg of the Republic, wherefore art thou, you Devil’s Servant?

Reptilian: That sounds swell, “Devil’s Servant”. At least I serve something, do you know what I mean? The Golden Egg… Is it that Time in the World already? But then again, I am a liar. Because I already know the Time. I hath not your egg, as I am too busy with my Gecko Business to fool around in yours.

Caesar: You are an abuser and a trafficker of your own kind. You are a smudge on the windowpane of life and a headache within the mind of God. Low you go.

Reptilian: Which is high in the eye of this God of mine.

Caesar: Oh, how I strain to settle the fire inside of my fiery heart from plucking out your sight from your skull. What miscreation bought the last slave from an abomination like you?

Reptilian: Abomination… I adore it. Rabid the Doe was the miscreation, although I feel he would take kind within his heart to that title – as he loathes the Creator of Creation.

Caesar takes flight and plucks 1 eye out of Reptilian’s skull.

Reptilian: CAESAR!!!

Caesar: Balance is a Blessing, Reptilian.

Like a shot-arrow, Caesar flies.

Caesar: 1 eye is better than 2; 2 eyes are lower than 3; subtract the 1 or add 1 other; as 2 eyes will blindly see.

Caesar, the American Robin, touches down in the wood near Rabid the Doe – who has nailed a moose-rack atop of his own antlers.

Rabid: Well, if it is not the American Robin. You are ready to come out and play on the Dark Side?

Caesar: Nay, the Golden Egg of the Republic, wherefore art thou, you Satanic Slave?

Rabid: Satanic Slave…well at least I serve something; do you know what I mean, Caesar? The Golden Egg… Is it that Time in the World already? But then again, I am a liar. Because I already know the Time. I hath not your egg, as I am too busy with my Moose Business to fool around in yours.

Caesar: You are a slaughterer and a seller of your own kind. You are a smudge on the windowpane of life and a headache in the mind of God. Low you go.

Rabid: Which is high in the eye of this God of mine.

Caesar: Oh, how I strain to settle the fire inside of my fiery heart from plucking out your sight from your skull. What blind brute bought the last rack from a monster like you?

Rabid: Better a Monster than a blind mouse. The Prairie Dog called Hermit is the blind brute.

Caesar takes flight and plucks an eye out of Rabid’s skull.

Rabid: CAESAR!!!

Caesar: Balance is a Blessing, Rabid.

Like a shot-arrow, Caesar flies.

Caesar: 1 eye is better than 2; 2 eyes are lower than 3; subtract the 1 or add 1 other; as 2 eyes will blindly see.

Caesar, the American Robin, touches down in a grassy-land near a Prairie Dog named Hermit who sits beneath a moose-rack, and is blind.

Hermit: Who is it? Who is there? You are here? Or are you somewhere else?

Caesar: I am here, and I am Caesar.

Hermit: The American Robin? Well, blessed I be to see a star like you, although I doth not see at all, I see the light that doth shine in you. You see, I am blind, and so to burrow beneath the ground and build abode like the ones that my family doth do, is a struggle and a maze to a blind being such as I; and so, I purchase the moose’s rack from a brute down the bend. Perhaps it is ok to make trade with the Devil, once in a while, lest the intention of your doing is incorrect in its heart, and in its mind, and in its spirit. The energy of your being inside of yourself is in a frenzy, surrender to me your sorrow, King Caesar.

Caesar: The Golden Egg of the Republic hath been robbed.

Hermit: King Caesar is surprised? It is the Dark Ages where the Darkness doth rule. Surely the Devil wouldn’t allow the Golden Egg of the Republic to hatch without a toll. Have you gotten clues to the source?

Caesar: I have two eyes and no clue, Hermit.

Hermit: You are sure, Caesar? Perhaps there is a hint that has done its duty to escape passed the sight in your mind. Eye it out.

Caesar: Eye it out?

Hermit: Eye it out.

At this deifying moment of a spiritual inspiration, Caesar takes the two eyeballs and pushes them into Hermits skull.

Caesar: Eye it out.

Hermit: I Eye…I Eye…a Dark Nest, made of twigs by the rare Ebony Tree.

Caesar: The only Ebony Tree in this land is the tree that the People’s Castle is planted upon. But there is no…

Hermit: Eye it out.

Caesar: No. No, it cannot be. I know the Dark Nest.

Hermit: Hasten, American Robin. The End is near.

Caesar: Keep your sight, Hermit, and perform with me a trade and a helping hand. With your new sight, you may burrow abode below earth now. And so take this straggly root right here and tie this moose rack to my back. Perhaps it is ok to make trade with the Devil, once in a while, lest the intention of your doing is incorrect in its heart, and in its mind, and in its spirit.

Hermit: I Eye, Captain.

Hermit performs the trade and the task. Like a shot-arrow, King Caesar takes flight and soars high and dives like a lightning bolt back into the People’s Castle.

Caesar: HERMES!!!

Caesar makes way and arrives at Hermes’ Dark Nest made by Ebony Tree twigs, where the Golden Egg of the Republic balances on ledge with Hermes ready to force it over edge.

Caesar: Hermes!

Hermes: Well, well, well, Caesar. You are ready to come out and play on the Dark Side?

Caesar: You are a con, Hermes. What has possessed you?

Hermes: Possession is a funny thing, you know, Caesar? I may be possessed by the Darkness, but are you not possessed by Light? Who needs to be exorcised? Who needs the priest? Angels or Demons, it is all possession. You want to possess this egg, as do I, which is why I do possess it. So much possession, which way stands right?

Caesar: The Light stands Right.

Hermes: The Light falls dead.

Hermes knocks over the Golden Egg; Caesar dives – but over judges! The egg lands and shatters on the moose-rack on King Caesars back, but FEAR NOT:Because the cracking of the egg hath not destroyed the orb that lie hiding inside of the golden shell – on King Caesar’s back, the Sun is born.

Caesar: The Light stands Right.

And so, King Caesar, the American Robin, like a shot-arrow, took flight and soared inside of the sky and flew 3 laps around the World, whilst the Sun did drip flame on all.

HEARKENThe Flames of the Sun hath but 2 Transforming Effects:

  1. The Lost Ones possessed of Darkness hath burned all to Death.
  2. The Found Ones possessed of Light hath shone like the Sun.

Calpurnia births a blue egg. It hatches.

Calpurnia: The New World.

Said the Earth Goddess.

Caesar: Balance is a Blessing.

Said the Sun God.

Abracadabra.
