Old Man: People don’t need belief in a God, they need relationship with a God – and that’s a difficult attaining, because people are uncomfortable to stir up a chat with a Deity that they know not-if exists. It is an embarrassing matter for them, to talk out-loud to the invisible; or even quietly in their own private head — their simple ‘belief’ does not hold-up in their very own court.

Young Man: But many do believe.

Old Man: But many do not speak-to & listen-for with patient-Faith. And people, too, believe in Bigfoot. It is not hard to do, and I would even argue that reciting the ABC’s is more a difficult task than it is to believe in a thing.

Young Man: Damn.
